YOU are beautiful.

There, I said it… and you know what? I mean it.

I am not sure who needs to hear this, but someone does. Someone out there is struggling. Struggling with the pressures of life’s burden of day to day life without seeing or hearing the reassurance that they are in fact beautiful.

The way in which you dance through your daily life making each and every decision is a waltz. Celebrate the fact that you knew how to get to and from work without the GPS, that’s a victory. The fact that you know exactly how you like your coffee, shows true dedication to advocate for what you want. Choosing what you are going to wear, eat, and spend your time before or after work expresses your inner beauty that you may wrestle with each and every day.

At this point in this post, you may be thinking, “Wow Jordi, you must be grabbing for straws by now…” To that, I answer no. The simple decisions that we make every single day speak to what is written on our heart.

If today, or yesterday, or tomorrow, your heart is troubled, that is okay. You are STILL beautiful.

So frequently, we as humans take what others think, say, or we think they are thinking and take that as how we see ourselves. However, allow me to tell you that YOU HAVE A CHOICE. See this, read it, read it out loud if you need to, but you are strong and you are beautiful. You are a child of God. You are so much more than what those children growing up said about you. You are more than what your past relationships said to you in the midst of a break up. You are so much more evolved, and beautifully crafted than those past thoughts that were screamed at you after you lost an argument.

Your inner voice can tell you 2 things, 1) you are worthy of love or 2) you are not. Today you make a choice to love yourself so read this and believe it - YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. You are seen, you are heard, and you are not alone.

PS - Recently, if you follow my personal page you may have noticed that I have started up a photography side-gig. This is the reason why. More times than not, how we see ourselves filmed, on camera, or side by side with others in our lives (thank you social media), and this is how we measure our worth and our beauty. I believe that everyone is beautiful and this is my hope in capturing those around me. That is as simple as it gets.
